rndware Screensaver
rndware Screensaver is a great, 100% free, resource friendly alternative to the default Windows XP screensaver.
The screensaver can
- display the clock,
- uptime
- your own text
- use your own choice of colors
You can also choose how often text moves around on the screen. It uses basically no CPU resources or RAM and is easy to use and setup.
It was made as an alternative for the Windows XP screensaver if you want something resource-light (eg. no 3D effects) and also want to specify some custom text, for company purposes for example. The config is saved under Application data for easy access.
The screensaver installs itself to the Windows control panel automatically so you don't have to drag it into C:\Windows.
